Use Gentle Detergents
Opt for detergents designed for sensitive skin or those labeled ‘gentle’. These products are typically less harsh on fabrics, ensuring colors remain vibrant and the fabric remains soft.
Turning pajamas inside out before washing can prevent color fading. This method also protects any prints or designs from direct friction with other clothes.
A stuffed washer can cause clothes to rub against one another excessively. This friction may result in pilling or fabric wear. To prevent this, wash pajamas in smaller loads and give them space to move.
While using a dryer is convenient, air-drying pajamas can extend their lifespan. Sunlight can naturally disinfect, but avoid direct sunlight as it can fade colors. Instead, dry in a shaded, airy spot.
Kids are prone to spills and stains. Addressing them quickly increases the chances of complete removal. Dab the stain gently with cold water before treating it with a stain remover.
